The Challenge

One Willow came to us having worked with several marketing agencies before, some of them for a long time, and having never felt they got the attention or the detail they deserved. The results were mixed and never quite held. What they were short of was not effort but consistency — and somebody treating the account as though it mattered.

Our Approach

  • Treated the detail as the job. The complaint about every agency before us was the same: not enough attention paid. Everything since has been built on the opposite, and six months in they are among our most vocal clients.
  • Made the restaurant findable at the moment of intent. Local SEO and Google Business Profile work aimed at people already searching — which now shows up as 3,430 direction requests and 1,364 calls in a single month, both from search.
  • Put the food in front of people who can drive to it. Social and content built around the raw bar and the plates, reaching an audience close enough to come in — which they demonstrably do.

One Willow had been through several marketing agencies before us, including relationships that ran for a long time. Their account of it is consistent: they never felt they got the attention or the level of detail they deserved, and the results were mixed and never quite stayed put.

Six months later they are one of the most vocal clients we have. Their search presence, their website and their social all carry the same work, which is the part that had never held together before.

In July 2026 alone, 3,430 people asked Google for directions to the restaurant and 1,364 called it, up 61.6% and 36.9% on the previous month. And the number the team tells us about is not in any report: a guest who drove an hour and a half to eat there, and said they came because of what they had seen on social.

Website SEO

Search work on the site itself, aimed at the queries that end in a table rather than at traffic for its own sake. In July 2026 it drew 3,660 organic clicks (+33.5%) from 56,374 impressions (+19.9%), at a 6.5% click-through rate. The restaurant's own name and its menu are the top queries, which is what demand looks like when people already know where they are going.

Google Business SEO

The Business Profile is where a local search turns into an arrival, so the actions matter more than the views: 3,430 direction requests (+61.6%), 1,364 calls (+36.9%) and 6,153 website clicks (+36.9%) in July 2026. Someone asking Google how to get there has already decided.

Social Media Management

Running the channels around the food and the room. The reach is doing real work: the restaurant has had guests arrive having driven an hour and a half, telling the team they came because of what they saw on social. That is the outcome the whole channel exists for.

Video Production

Vertical films of the raw bar, the plates and the room, cut for the feed. Seafood is a product people decide on with their eyes, and video is the closest a phone gets to putting it in front of them.

Photography

Food and interior photography carrying the menu, the site and the search listings. Photos are also what guests look for before booking — "one willow photos" is one of the restaurant's own top search queries.

Graphics & Collateral

Design work across the social, menu and promotional material — the pieces a guest actually meets, kept consistent so the restaurant reads the same on a feed, a table and a screen.

Brand Guidelines

The rules underneath that work — how the marks, type and color are used, so anything made later still looks like One Willow whoever makes it.

Website Design & Development

We manage One Willow's website and are currently building them a new one. The site is where the search work lands, so managing it alongside the SEO is what keeps the two pulling in the same direction rather than against each other.
