Packaging Design
Packaging that earns a second look on the shelf and survives the unboxing video.
Start a ProjectOverview
Packaging is the only piece of marketing a customer pays to take home. On a shelf it has a couple of seconds to be picked up; at a doorstep it decides whether the delivery is worth filming. Both jobs are design problems, and they aren't the same problem.
We design for the shelf it will actually sit on and the hands it will actually reach — legible at distance, honest about what's inside, and built to the constraints of the substrate and print process rather than redrawn after the manufacturer says no.
What We Do
The work itself.
Designed for the shelf it's on
Tested at real size against real neighbors, not admired at 200% on a screen.
Labels and compliance
Required information laid out so it's correct and legible without wrecking the front face.
Built for the unboxing
The inside of the box is content — it's what gets filmed and posted.
Made to the manufacturer's spec
Dielines, substrates, and finishes agreed with production early, so nothing has to be redrawn.
In Practice
What it looks like.

Frequently Asked
Can you work with our existing manufacturer?
Yes. We'd rather start from their dieline and print capabilities than design something beautiful they can't make.
How much does the material matter?
A great deal — finish and substrate carry most of the perceived quality. The same artwork on uncoated stock versus a soft-touch laminate reads as two different price points.
